Todays shoot starts of what is set to be a busy summer for me! As with all my wedding packages, Emma and Barry got a free pre-wedding shoot as part of their wedding photography. Their wedding only being a few weeks away, we tried to shoot the session a couple of weeks away, however Barrys daughter was not well so we postponed it until today.
Thankfully everyone was feeling well and the weather was not too bad, so we headed for Stokes Bay. I met the three of them by the beach where we shot some informal shots of them all. I was keen to keep them very natural so I had them walk up the beach and not really play up to the camera too much. The skies gave quite a moody feel to the images which I love. I also posed a quick group shot of them before heading on to our next location. These are my favourite of the beach shots:
Just a short walk away is park, close by to the Alverbank which is a local wedding venue. We walked through to the park and on the way I noticed a tree in bloom, which was ideal for this shoot, if we had blue skies it would have been incredible but it still worked very well for the shots:
We finished the session off by the flowers which were bright and cheery for a miserable day, just a quick simple, relaxed group shot and we were all done. I like to keep the sessions short and sweet as it better for people in the pictures. I am certain they enjoyed their time in front of the camera today and will love the images.
Keep your eyes open for their wedding images in the next month or so, I have no doubt Emma will make a beautiful bride and Barry a Handsome groom. I am very much looking forward to their day.
