The Rose Road Association Triathlon 2010

On Saturday morning I was in Totton, Southampton, covering a charity triathlon on behalf of The Rose Road Association. The competition was organised by Naomi Lush and the team at Rose Road in Association with Totton Running club, Bruce Elkins of CW Fellowes, and The Southampton Daily Echo.

It featured 44 competitors, and as part of the event the competitors had to swim, cycle and finally run. Competitor were of varying ability, however winning wasn't the point of the event. It was organised to raise money for The Rose Road Association (a very worthy charity.)

Having completed the event, the competitors all received a medal for their effots and prizes were given to the winning team. Naomi was able to confirm on the day, they had raised approx £8000. I would like to add my thanks to all the competitors and organisers for all the effort put in.
