PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY

When you think of your family members and ancestors, it is quite likely you will remember them through images more than memories. The reason for this being over the last 100 years the Photo Portrait was a common thing to have done at various points in your life. At different ages of childhood, coming of age, getting engaged and married, then with your own family.

With modern digital cameras the event of going to a professional portrait photographer has become less common. You may take thousands of photographs of your loved ones, but how many capture them at their best? How many do you print? How many of those images will be around in 100 years time? Chances are through computer failure and lack of prints, not that many will survive.

David Greensmith is not only a portrait photographers but also a people photographer. He is happy working in a studio environment capturing popular family portraits on white backgrounds. Another option is to shoot in natural surroundings, whether it doing something you and your family do on a regular basis, or on a special trip to somewhere like the beach.

Images can be styled to suit your home or a particular look, be it black and white, vibrant colour or something subtly toned to match your decor. Images can also be in portrait or landscape to suite your spacial requirements. Simply let us know at the time of booking.

Prints are available at competitive prices and in a range of sizes. Canvas and other special products are also available. You have the option of buying a disc with your favourite 10 Images in full resolution with a license to print, or if you just want to show them off on facebook we can also provide a low resolution disc at a much cheaper price.
